Our client, a regional organization headquartered in the Uptown area of Charlotte, has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Accountant to join it’s Finance and Accounting department.
Job Description:
Play integral role in Company-wide payroll systems conversion
Responsible for month-end and year-end financial closings
Lightly supervise and mentor Junior Accountant and Payroll Specialist
General ledger work
Special projects as assigned by Controller
REQUIREMENTS
BS in Accounting is required for this position
3+ years experience
Strong communication skills – able to conduct presentations for small groups
Proficient in Excel
ADP experience is preferred
