Senior Accountant/Tax

Classification: Temporary Compensation: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour We are looking for a Senior Accountant/Tax Preparer with 5+ years experience.
Applicant will perform a combination of Tax and Accounting.
Duties of the position will include:
1. Preparation of corporate, partnership, LLC and individual income tax returns, using Lacerte software,2. Analysis of Quick Books Pro files and preparation of adjustments thereto,3. Consultation with clients with respect to their bookkeeping and accounting questions,4. Review of payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, and county business personal property tax statements,5. IRS and other agencies' correspondences,
6. Supervision of junior accounting professionals,
7. Direct client contact in order to assemble working papers to support adjusted working trial balances,8. Reviewing the working papers and tax returns prepared by other firm professionals,9. Meeting with individual tax clients in order to obtain sufficient data to prepare their individual or business federal and state tax returns,
10. Strong ability to prepare schedules in Excel and documents in Word, All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States.
