Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting

General Summary:
Responsible for the Company’s monthly consolidation close process, analysis of the consolidated results, and preparation of and analysis of cash flow statements. Assist with research of technical accounting issues, and drafting/filing of SEC documents quarterly and annually. Additionally this role will assist with the external audit of our Company’s financial statements. This position will report to a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and have direct interaction with the Assistant Controller and the Controller.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and lead monthly consolidation of the Company’s financial results, including detailed review of financial reporting package. Communication with subsidiaries and IT department, including closing meetings and follow up items (25%)
Preparation of consolidation analyses to support and validate the consolidated results (25%)
Preparation and review of monthly cash flow statement (20%)
Preparing supporting documentation for quarterly and year-end SEC filings including 10-Q's and 10-K's, including footnotes and MD&A, (5%)
Preparation of other SEC filings such as Proxy Statement, as well as assisting with 8-K's and 11-K's (5%)
Performing variance and trend analysis as well as maintaining and creating various schedules (5%)
Facilitate corporate and divisional SOX compliance (5%)
Perform special projects as needed (5%)
Prepare presentations of monthly financial results for Controller’s Operation Meeting (5%)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting CPA preferred
2 to 3 years Total work experience
Word and Excel.
Public Accounting experience preferred.
