Senior Accounting Consultant
5 Consultants Needed October 1, 2006, for Reconciliation Project

Our client, a premier not-for-profit healthcare organization, is seeking 5 Senior Accounting Consultants for a large-scale reconciliation project in Hyattsville, MD. The 5-person team will be responsible for bank and GL account reconciliation in both the Lawson and Peachtree accounting systems. Project will commence on Monday, October 2, 2006. Consultants will be asked to make a minimum 2-month commitment to the project (through November 30th).
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
Strong reconciliation skills (this must be demonstrated in the resume)
Intermediate to advanced GL knowledge
Experience with Lawson and/or Peachtree a plus
Advanced MS Excel skills (creating complex spreadsheets, lookups, tables, formulas)
Bachelor degree preferred


Compensation / Benefits

Target range $25 to $35 per hour, non-exempt. Equivalent $52,000 to $70,000 annual salary. Spherion offers benefits to W-2 consultants after 30 days on assignment, which includes medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
