Senior Accountant ( QUOTE REF HDS)

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $50000 to $60000 per year Our client is a leading health care provider with its head office operations in Richmond.They are looking to recruit a senior SEC reporting accountant.You will have 3 or more years experience and a degree in accounting and working knowledge of GAAP.CPA and health care experience is highly desirable.
You will report directly into the CFO and corporate office.Duties will include:
Responsibility for capital tracking and reporting of pending and approved projects.
Monitor the capital spending of individual projects compared to budget and ensure that the total allocation remains within the approved limits.
Provide detailed reporting and discuss project status with the CFO.
Serve as Lawson training coordinator for operations management.
Responsible for statistical reporting to local management and the corporate office.
Responsible for quarterly financial reporting, including reviews of the income statement, balance sheet, fixed assets, investments and debts.
Help coordinate audits for external and internal auditors and provide analysis as needed.
