**Our client, a nationally recognized publicly traded retail conglomerate is continuing on their rapid expansion and is seeking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting group.**

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Assistant Accounting Managers with the month end close, financial reporting for various locations. In addition, you will be responsible for the general ledger maintenance, journal entries, assisting with the management of the fixed assets systems, producing internal reports on fixed assets activity, external reporting including external audits, ensure proper coding in accordance with budget and capitalization process, journal entries associated with monthly depreciation, special projects as assigned by Management Team.

Ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal as well as written communication skills as this position requires for heavy interaction with the Operations Management team as well as key Executives.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance, thorough understanding of GAAP reporting, proficiency with major accounting software packages as well as the ability to work independently. CPA certification highly preferred but not required.
