Senior Accountant - Perimeter

Well run, medium sized healthcare related company has the immediate need for a seasoned senior accountant to join its team. In this role, you will work closely with the accounting manager to get the department in order. The client previously outsourced the accounting function and has recently brought accounting in house and purchased Great Plains accounting. There are several accounting issues that need to be addressed and a lot of your work will be related to new processes SO YOU MUST BE ABLE TO THINK ON YOUR OWN and CREATE YOUR OWN JOURNAL ENTRIES.

Staff accountant, general ledger accountant, g/l accountant, CPA, C.P.A., GL Accountant, Senior GL Accountant, revenue recognition accountant, Senior Staff GL Accountant, Senior Staff General Ledger Accountant, month end close, journal entries, financial statement preparation
REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must have an accounting degree, have a good job record, and have at least 5 years of accounting experience - at least 3 of which deal directly with the general ledger. Any system conversion, process improvement, or light supervisory skills are highly preferred.
