Senior Accountant (HDS)

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $40000 to $55000 per year Our client is a $500 billion global pharmaceutical firm.
They are looking to recruit a staff accountant to work at there Richmond site, currently worth $200 million.
You will report directly into the VP of finance and also indirectly to head office operations in New York.Typical duties will include but not be limited to:Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. The month end close is a high pressure turnaround and has to be completed within 4 days.
You will also be responsible for general ledger and bank reconciliation, stock inventory, sales reconciliation, intercompany transactions and ad hoc analysis.
This will include analyzing trading levels and stock forecasting .Treasury and cash flow forecasting.
In addition you will also prepare open schedules to assist outside auditors and oversee and set up the accounts payable function. Which will include liaison with the bank .This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and highly profitable market leader in the Pharmaceutical field.

It is essential that you are a degreed accountant with 2 or more years previous, related, experience.
