Senior Accountant (BA)

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $65,000 per year Description: Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant positions that will help ensure a timely close of the general ledger at month end and supports the daily operations of the Accounting Department. The job exists primarily to address complex accounting projects and transactions. Specific tasks will include investment, debt, swap and cost of fund accounting. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently are critical qualifications of the position.
Responsibilities Include•Play a major role in month end closing cycle•Assist in the interpretation and analysis of specific transactions for NCB and subsidiaries
•Generation of monthly journal entries
•Preparation of assigned account reconciliations in a timely, accurate and complete manner
•Accounting, reporting and analysis functions (monthly accounting, analysis for investments, debt, swaps and cost of funds)
•Assistance in 10K and 10Q SEC Reporting Processes
•Analyze and prepare monthly investment and debt schedules, roll-forwards & associated closing entries
•Review of process and report formats
•Manage and assist the definition and implementation of diverse accounting projects
