Select Hotels Group - Manager of Corporate Accounting

Job Description: Responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Corporate Accounting function for Select Hotels Group LLC (parent for the AmeriSuites, Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suite chains) as well as development, preparation and distribution of all SHG consolidated financial statements (both JD Edwards and HFM generated). Administrative responsibility for a staff of three Developing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages with JDE Developing/maintaining Hyperion reporting functionality within SHG Developing segment reporting for all SHG business units including hotel, real estate, franchise development and corporate overhead Developing internal senior management reporting Ensuring consistent application of accounting policies across all companies Ensuring compliance with current Global Hyatt financial reporting requirements Coordinating the annual audit by working with external auditors Responsible for review of and participate in the issuance of miscellaneous reports related to the hotel management business Participating in the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes Ensuring adequate controls over financial reporting as required by SHG policy and Sarbanes-Oxley are in place Special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: 5 years of professional experience, with a mix between public accounting and corporate 2 years of supervisory experience Oracle and Hyperion experience preferred Bachelors Degree in Accounting CPA certificate required
