Securitization Accounting Specialist

We are currently seeking a Securitization Accounting Specialist who will support accounting, reporting, and systems for various securitization transactions; Support funding initiatives and business changes; Provide support on accounting and financial reporting; Prepare and review quarterly footnotes for sales of receivables and variable interest entities for financial statements and annual sales of receivables for financial statements; Manage information flow and relationships with outside auditors to support the financial audit; Ensure proper internal controls are maintained and ensure compliance with requirements; Review accounting pronouncements related to securitization accounting; Review development of annual unaudited financial statements for numerous securitization legal entities in support of annual board meetings.~cb~
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree and will preferably be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). The candidate will have the ability to read legal documents from securitization transactions and assist with balance sheet treatment determination; Experience with Securitization Accounting or Securitization Funding experience coupled with strong Accounting knowledge; Ability to work well with cross-functional teams to achieve overall Securitization tasks and objectives; Strong financial and analytical skills in order to complete many different types of assignments; Strong leadership and supervisory skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills.
