Sales Finance Manager |

Purpose:

Responsible for leading the Sales Finance effort to support the sales and customer service personnel in

order to develop a strategic and growth framework for the business through solid financial analysis and analytical support of the sales force efforts. This implies working with and supporting The Sales force in order to develop a strategic and operating framework for the business through improving processes, systems, and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Also responsible for working with the Information Systems group in order to improve systems, data integrity, visibility and processes / procedures as needed.















Major Accountabilities:



- Lead development of Customer and Market profitability Models in order to provide financial support for Strategic growth initiatives.

- Lead the development Analysis and decision support for Strategic Growth initiatives.

- Own the reporting and tracking of Strategic Growth initiatives on a monthly basis, including the reporting and reconciliation of results.

- Overall review of the execution of Growth initiatives to the system developed plan – determination of the impact when plan is not followed.

- Development of reporting models and the presentation of results and analysis to Sales teams (focus on growth models, but not limited to)

- Tracing client financial impact analysis through to actual cost results – plan v. actuals to test process.

- Automation to improve data visibility and integrity.

- Management of key finance IS projects (as required).

- Develop team members by providing training/mentoring opportunities where appropriate and support the development of individuals.

- Effectively manage team, including ongoing coaching/development, performance management, etc. – done so in a timely fashion.

- Systems issues – SAP as well as data integrity.

- Lack of skilled systems knowledge within the organization.

- IS personnel execution.

- Openness to process improvement and time required to develop an improvement plan.

- Lack of process focus by areas within client group.

- Standardization across functions in their approach to financial and strategic planning.

Education: Undergraduate degree in finance / accounting

Experience: 5-10 years total work experience at least 5 years in financial analysis role
