Proactively drive, manage and implement federal sales and proposal policies and
processes. Includes:
Promoting a proactive federal sales strategy, ensuring the current standard
proposal process encompasses the new XLOS Refuse to Lose (RTL) methodology (new
Firm policy), policies, guidelines and tools. Includes ensuring that client
service teams understand and utilize these methodologies.
Ensuring that USMC members are integrated into the RTL process, as appropriate,
on opportunities.
Collaborating with other SSG Team members to conduct just in time RTL training
for WFP teams.
Driving, managing and implementing a strategic proposal and oral presentation
process to support the new business targeting efforts of P3 and other assigned
target teams.
Liaising with the Visual Communications Group (VCN) to ensure appropriate use
of their services and to produce WFP-branded proposals, presentations and other
sales support tools that resonate with the buyers and influencers at government
agencies.
Linking winning practices, such as sales strategies, value propositions,
placemats and other sales support tools with appropriate PwC
solutions/capabilities to ensure we meet/respond to client needs.
Supporting the targeting efforts and proposal process for selected WFP agencies.
Reviewing RFIs, RFPs and other proposal vehicles to ensure proposal documents
meet compliance and quality control requirements. Includes liaison with OGC and
contracts offices re compliance.
Supporting BDEs in their targeting efforts as well as their efforts to
establish alliances/teaming arrangements.
Driving Federal Preferred Provider (P3) teams. Includes:
Driving assigned Preferred Provider team performance by monitoring federal
agency activity in terms of touchpoints, bid cycles, and identifying potential
opportunities. Also includes maintaining network of contacts to support our
targeting efforts.
Collaborating with P3 teams to create relationship maps for assigned agencies.
Includes regular updating of information to ensure relationship maps reflect
changes in relationships, track progress of relationship development.
Working with P3 teams to identify priority initiative penetration goals as
applicable to the government sector.
Assisting in preparation of P3 strategic planning sessions.
Conducting basic agency and competitive intelligence research, as required.
Driving follow-up meetings, ensuring action items competed.
Deliver high-quality service on large, complex new business opportunities.
Includes:
Providing high-level coaching and large team facilitation to assigned P3 and
other target clients.
Providing proactive advice to achieve continued improvements in proposal
process effectiveness and efficiency. Includes leveraging winning practices
from one opportunity to the next.
Working with Pinnacle Solutions Group to tailor Priority Initiatives so that
they are applicable in the Federal space, Includes managing Priority
Initiative proposal opportunities, as appropriate to the government sector,
providing insight into winning value propositions, coaching and driving
proposal teams, ensuring compliance with government agency requirements as well
as consistency and quality of message. Also includes debriefing teams at
conclusion of proposals (wins and losses) and leveraging lessons learned on
other opportunities.
Build and maintain internal relationships to integrate WFP/leverage synergies
with other LOS. Includes:
Working collaboratively with other SSG team members, BDEs, industry and
practice leaders and teams to ensure an integrated targeting effort.
Leveraging knowledge of national teams and network of specialists, as
appropriate. Includes, but is not limited to, the Strategic Projects Office,
Refuse to Lose Champion, Touchpoints contact, Sales Innovation Team, Research
and Analysis Team, Business Solutions Team and SSG Industry Leaders.
Undertake other duties, which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Championing XLOS collaboration, as applicable.
Participating in/contributing to the WFP get the revenue and run the business
calls.
Assisting in the career development of Associate-level SSG team members.
Setting up and organizing internal team meetings related to targeting efforts,
new business opportunities, as required.
Updating proposal information templates/database materials in the Federal
Proposal Toolkit and other SSG knowledge databases, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.Essential Requirements:
Experience with traditional and internet based marketing techniques and direct
marketing.
Excellent writing, editing and copyediting skills.
Ability to work closely and confidently with senior management.
5-8 years experience in Marketing role with experience in federal contracting.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be proactive and enthusiastic.
Prior writing experience.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Flexibility for overtime.
