SSC - COMMERCIAL COLLECTIONS ASSOCIATE

Purpose:
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for all AR functions for a portfolio of Commercial Parts and Service accounts. The A/R Associate will work in a fast paced environment to maintain pleasant working relationships with all customers while minimizing bad debt reserves.

Contacting customers for payment of past due invoices
Ensure proper payment application instructions are submitted to Cash Applications group
Resolve unapplied cash for assigned portfolio of accounts
Research disputed amounts on accounts as well as recommending accounts for credit hold.
Provide invoice copies to customers
Refer accounts to 3rd party collections when necessary and process associated write-offs.
Assist in running monthly statements and other month-end close duties.

Required Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of college (or equivalent)
Experience Requirements:
Commercial Collections experience (at least 2 years)
Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
Extensive A/R knowledge
Strong customer service skills

Qualifications Preferred:
Bilingual a plus
ADP dealership experience
