SF Payment Plan Account Representative

The State Farm Payment Plan Account Representative is an entry level, support position requiring exceptional customer service skills in support of State Farm's billing programs through servicing flexible billing options. Candidate must also possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to prosper in a team environment.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:


Set up and manage new and existing accounts.
Review and handle insurance policy changes, transfers, billing and payment questions.
Responds both orally and in writing to inquiries from policyholders, agency force, divisions, general departments, regulatory departments, mortgage companies, banks, claim representatives, and fellow SFPP employees throughout the company.
Performs routine and complex account maintenance for State Farm Payment Plan Accounts.
Navigates and comprehends auto, fire, life, health, accounting, and other applicable systems, in conjunction with State Farm Payment Plan systems.
Applies process guidelines and uses independent judgment, reasoning, and critical thinking to make decisions, within compliance and consistency standards, where guidelines do not provide specific answers.
Items of Note:

SFPP employees will not be eligible to post for lateral opportunities outside of SFPP for 24 months from their effective date in the position.
Work subject to audit by SEC.
Incumbent must be able to work in a fast paced, heavy workload, multi-task environment.
May be required to attend additional training for future development.
May be required to work irregular or non-standard hours.
May be required to travel, overnight, via commercial transportation and/or by driving motor vehicle, for visits to agent's offices, agency training, and/or to attend meetings in other State Farm facilities.
