SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Richmond, VA- Mechanicsville) As the largest bowling company in the world, AMF owns and operates over 360 bowling centers worldwide, with over 350 centers in the U.S. and more than a dozen in 3 other countries. Having divested some manufacturing lines, and entering into a joint venture to create the Bowling Products powerhouse QubicaAMF, AMF is now poised to focus on "reinventing" the way the world views bowling through superior food and beverage offerings, and a customer service experience never before delivered in the bowling industry. We seek exceptional operators interested in the "Management of Fun." The Senior Accountant – Internal Financial Reporting assists in the timely reporting of monthly financial results • Assist with the preparation and distribution of financial reports reflecting organization’s operations, and with the preparation of financial statements. • Performs inter-company billing and maintains inter-company accounts in balance by identifying and reconciling out-of-balance issues. • Tracks, analyzes and forecasts costs and profit. • Prepares journal entries and adjustments. • Performs account reconciliations to the general ledger and fields questions from management concerning financial results. Analyzes key expense accounts. • Communicates issues and findings and recommends corrective action. • Works with external auditors during quarterly and annual reviews and audits. • Tracks and reports exchange rates used company-wide. • Assists with quarterly reporting and tax packages. • Assists with International Bowling Centers accounting as needed. • Special projects as needed. Bachelor’s degree and at least three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer/PC skills. CPA preferred.
