SEC Reporting Accountant

Responsible for the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting documents and related SEC filings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate in the preparation and filing of all external financial reporting, quarterly and annual reports, and other required SEC filings, including the information gathering process. Responsible for the compilation of financial statements, footnotes, management's discussion and analysis and all other components of SEC filings.
Assist with the annual proxy preparation process and shareholders' meeting.
Assist with the preparation of earnings releases, including financial exhibits, conference call script, and other communications/presentations for accuracy and completeness.
Provide technical and consulting support to the finance organization on the treatment of accounting issues, implementation of new accounting standards and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB regulations.
Assist with compiling information for Sarbanes Oxley testing and compliance.
Work with external and internal auditors on requests for assistance
Other projects as requested.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
CPA or candidate, preferred
Public Accounting experience a plus
Applied working knowledge of US GAAP and accounting procedures
Strong analytical, organizational and research abilities
Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience
Detail-oriented with demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Must be a motivated, self-starter, who is able to work independently or with a team
Must love challenging opportunities to assist or co-design solutions to perplexing issues that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance organization
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure
Ability to meet strict deadlines on a consistent basis
Ability to work with all levels of personnel, from staff to executive management
