SAP R/3 SD Specialist (MM is a bonus)

Preferred would be someone interested in a direct-hire (permanent) position, but we will also consider a temporary consultant.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
SAP R/3 SD Specialist: Responsible for the configuration of merchandising and marketing support systems. Duties include business analysis, requirements gathering, development, testing, and production support.

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES/RESULTS:
- Adheres to architectural goals and principles, implement functions (frameworks, interfaces and services)
to support business processes to be used by a broad range of applications, assure the complementary
synthesis of all standards (models, designs and methodologies) recommended by systems Architects.
- Follows service designs through from conception through deployment to ensure the architectural
integrity of the solution.
- Assesses technical risks relative to software and system design and consults with various teams (design,
implementation, and quality assurance).
- Demonstrates a commitment to core values of safety, integrity, process improvement, and
customer satisfaction.
- Coordinates with teams and business leaders to identify, analyze, and implement areas of IT process
improvement. Create process documentation and designs. Execute root cause
analysis, evaluation, and actions based on evaluation results.
- Collaborates with department resources to create and maintain deliverables associated with Project
Definition, Analysis, Design, Testing, and rollout.
- Draws on functional knowledge of applications, knowledge of industry standards, and knowledge of
customer's business requirements to support delivery of solutions that meet business needs.
- Leads research and training efforts internally for merchandising area.
- Consults with business unit on authorization, prioritization and justification of request
- Investigate, define, and classify production issues as needed, drawing on functional knowledge of
applications, knowledge of industry standards, and knowledge of customer's business needs.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree or the equivalent required.
- Experience in SAP R/3 software configuration and project implementation is required.
- Experience with SAP R/3 SD application is required, experience with MM is desired.
- Two years experience with Business Process analysis, mapping and modeling.
- Demonstrate successful history of working with cross-functional departments and work teams to
re-design processes.
- Broad range of experience across multiple business functions including Supply Chain, CRM,
eCommerce, Finance, and Merchandising, and understanding retail industry is preferred, not required.
- Ability to objectively and accurately forecast, and map intersections between processes.
- Must possess a high level of business maturity, accountability, and customer focus.
- Project Management experience desired but not required.
