SAP Finance Analyst - FICO

Responsible for executing activities associated with the maintenance, development and support of FICO SAP applications for both new implementations and existing SAP instances. Will work closely with project managers and process analysts to ensure configurations / customizations meet business requirements.

Responsible for providing SAP system solutions in the form of a documented functional specification documents and configuration documents of how the solution will meet the business requirements.
Responsible for the configuration of SAP FICO module for existing implementations and new deployments globally.
Travel to various company facilities worldwide when necessary to gather requirements, work with end users, or provide system launch support.
Ensure that SAP solutions are properly tested for all business process scenarios
Create Functional specification documents for programmers, review the technical design documents, create unit and integration test plans, and execute testing.
Provide knowledge transfer when necessary.
Adhere to service level agreements for case resolution when working support issues.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 4 years of SAP FICO experience in AR/AP/GL/AM/IV/CO/PA with hands-on configuration experience in full life-cycle implementations.
Demonstrated experience in fixed asset accounting module required.
SAP FICO certification is desired.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant finance business experience.
Solid understanding of the SAP data model and relevant master data elements (Material Master, Customer Master, Pricing records and condition technique, customer material information records, etc.).
Functional knowledge of the integration points between SAP modules (PP, FI, CO, SD, MM, etc.).
Work experience in the Automotive Aftermarket and OEM in an SAP environment preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams.
Experience with European financials a plus.
Bachelor of Science degree related to information technology, computer science, finance, supply chain or other relevant four year degree.
