SALES FINANCIAL ANALYST

NewStar is a progressive grower/shipper/distributor of quality fresh vegetables in Salinas. We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Analyst with strong accounting and analytical skills to join our finance team.
BA/BS in finance, accounting or economics w/min. 5 years experience in financial and business analysis with an emphasis in sales volumes, budget, forecasts and variance analysis. Produce industry experience preferred. Must be accurate, detail oriented, and have the ability to work independently. This position performs a variety of business development, economic evaluation and planning functions, reports, analyzes and interprets financial and operating data for management and corporate functions.
Strong computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication are essential. Must be a team player and have strong presentation skills.
