Risk Manager to $180,000

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $150,000 to $180,000 per year Fortune insurance company located in New York City has an excellent opportunity for an VP of Corporate Risk Management. This challenging role will require an analytical, talented and business savvy risk manager who is qualified to build and apply decision support tools to assess the total portfolio exposure to asset liability and market & credit risks. This role will have exposure at all levels across the organization and will provide consultation to each line of business to ensure that they identify rebalancing and hedging actions that
achieve the overall strategic goals. Must have an MBA and/or CFA who
has a solid understanding of corporate risk management targeted around pricing theory, risk & reward theory, portfolio & risk modeling with an ability to interpret macroeconomic & market variables through the use of statistical/analytical techniques. Highly interactive role where excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. This is a project pool environment that will involve leadership capabilities and time management skills. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, a bonus and medical and savings benefits. Base salary will pay 150,000 - 180,000k plus Bonus.
