Risk Analyst - 040165

Basic Function:

This position is responsible for negotiating and approving property and casualty insurance for the enterprise, analyzing and approving insurance contract renewals, coordinating the payment process for corporate property and casualty claims, coordinating enterprise internal and external loss control activity with P&C insurance companies and corporate operational areas.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of risk analysis experience OR 9 years of risk analysis experience; 2) Experience with selecting Property and Casualty insurance carriers for general liability, umbrella, auto, property, workers’ compensation, fidelity, D&O, E&O, fiduciary, EP, and surety bonding; 3) Experience with analyzing Property and Casualty policies; 4) Experience with developing an enterprise wide budget; 5) Experience with analyzing and validating Property and Casualty renewal data; 6) Experience with approving insurance, hold-harmless, and indemnification provisions in contracts, leases, RFPs, etc; 7) Experience with negotiating price, terms, and issue resolution with brokers and P&C insurance carriers; 8) Experience coordinating Property and Casualty claims with brokers, carriers, and vendors; 9) Work management/ multi tasking/ setting and negotiating priorities; 10) PC experience
including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; 11) Decision making skills; 12) Knowledge of federal and state P&C legislation; 13) Knowledge of loss prevention and control concepts and processes; 14) Verbal and written communications skills to include usage of correct grammar; clear, concise, and appropriate word choice; diplomatic and tactful tone; 15) Interpersonal skills.

Preferred Job Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, or Finance; 2) ARM or CPCU designation.
