Revenue Audit Manager-Sheraton
The manager of revenue audit supervises the revenue audit department ensuring the accurate and timely daily audit of revenue generated by all slot machines, table games, all other games, food and beverage outlets, retail outlets, and the hotel. Responsible for conducting a daily audit of all casino cage transactions. Responsible for preparation of all gaming-related tax returns for review by the operations controller.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensures accurate and timely daily audit of revenue generated by all slot machines, table games, poker games, food and beverage outlets, retail outlets, and hotel.
Conduct a daily cage audit, ensuring the veracity of all transactions and accompanying documents received from the casino main cage.
Enters daily journal entries to record daily activity.
Controls issuance and tracking of sensitive forms to ensure proper control of the documents.
Maintains control of documents to ensure their proper distribution.
Assume various responsibilities and perform various duties for special projects as necessary.
Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.
Promote outstanding guest relations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Attendance, which may be modified by the Horseshoe form time to time, is an essential function of the job and is required to successfully perform in this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Horseshoe policies and procedures for the safe and efficient operation of company facilities. Employees who violate company policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises all revenue auditors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university;
And at least six months experience supervising a casino revenue audit staff.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required.
Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations.
