Revenue Accounting - Dallas TX

We have an opportunity for a Revenue Accountant in our Dallas TX operations office. Reporting to the Controller, this position works closely with Property Managers and Property Accountants to manage and maintain the integrity of our commercial tenant lease data.

Responsibility highlights:Gather, verify and enter commercial tenant lease data.Generate monthly rent rolls; invoice oversight; input cash receipts daily and apply to open items; run 'Aged Receivables' reports and distribute to Property Managers and Property Accountants.Work closely with Property Managers and Property Accountants concerning revenue, receivables; tenant lease updates.Research and produce reports as business needs arise.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED, plus appropriate related accounting or bookkeeping experience or training.Must have: (1) Commercial real estate experience as lease administrator, A/R Clerk, or both. (2) Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. (3) Superior customer service, communication, and facilitation skill, combined with the ability to recognize key contacts and interact professionally at all levels at all times. (4) Excellent quantitative skills. High level of accuracy while working with numbers, addresses and other pertinent data.Ability to: (1) write internal(email)correspondence and reports; (2) effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. (3) apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.Work requires continual attention to detail in data entry, proof-reading crucial information, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.Working knowledge of Excel (intermediate or better) and MS Word. MRI, CTI or other commercial property management accounting software experience strongly preferred.
