Retirement Plan Supervisor - 401K/Pension/DB

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $60000 to $70000 per year Maintains plans records and ensures compliance with federal regulations.
•Responsible for all aspects of customer service relations with regards to 401(k) and Pension Plans.•Review and assist in the editing of the 401(k) and Pension Summary Plan Descriptions.
•Monitor contribution limits for both Pension & 401(k) Plans based on IRS determination.
•Communicate and correspond with members with regards to their pension and 401(k) benefits.•Clear understanding of benefit distribution is necessary.•Supervisory, training experience, and develop a staff consisting of a Pension Analyst and clerical support/customer service rep.
•Responsible for the distribution of yearly pension statements.•Interaction with accounting department on a daily basis, as well as compiling information for monthly reports to initiate payment of benefits for all types of pension payees.•Responsible for the redetermination of pension accruals and statements for the prior years of employment
•Knowledge of defined benefit; QDRO's under qualified plans and death benefits claims examination a plus.
•Determine and calculate pension benefits.
401(k):
•Responsible for preparation of new 401 (k) member packets and including all updates to the Plan.
•Determining yearly Minimum Distributions, ADP non discrimination testing, 5500 preparation, plan education, etc.•Analyze and process 401(k) distribution forms, denial letters and follow-ups.
