This member of the Retail LOS Implementation team will lead a team of Operation Analysts as a site leader throughout the implementation lifecycle. This will include, but not be limited to, responsibilities for logistics, training, technology, information security, and performance measurements of the system implementation. This will also include establishing the performance management statistics for the project, compiling data from other site leaders, analyzing that information, and providing regular status reports to the project management team. These metrics will lay the framework for the ongoing business process management tools which will enable the business to deliver unsurpassed quality while improving productivity. In addition, this role will also be responsible for the creation and testing of the Business Continuity Planning/ Disaster Recovery plans for the Retail LOS project. Essential Functions include:
* Lead a site implementation team consisting of technology, training, and site support personnel
* Manage direct and in-direct staff involved in aspects of implementation.
* Partner effectively with change targets to ensure issues are quickly and efficiently resolved
* Provide business leadership for all implementation efforts of assigned location: including prioritization of all activities, alignment with overall strategic plan, status reporting and risk assessments, issue identification, resolution, and milestone reporting for all sites.
* Assist in planning the implementation cycles for IT, Underwriting, Sales and Operations.
* Identify opportunities to further improve proposed designs and provide input into Phase II functionality.
* Work with IT Project Management leaders in the execution of technology efforts, understand and integrate potential of cross-functional projects underway.
* Follow Chase Home Mortgage project initiation and management processes to ensure all efforts are completed on time, on budget and deliver agreed upon benefits.
* Define and track key performance indicators to ensure organization capability to meet expectations, test, and execute on BCP/DR plan, if necessary.
* Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plan/Disaster Recovery plans for the Retail LOS project
* Assist with creating or validating business case documents and status updates for Production Steering Committee, CHF Governance Board and CFS Board approvals.
REQUIREMENTS
* Team player with a positive attitude that can operate effectively within a matrix reporting organization.
* Experienced team leader in managing large teams of varying tenure/skills sets with demonstrated proficiency at developing leadership skills.
* Seven + years of program/project management experience with a proven track record of completing large scale or complex initiatives. Prefer this experience to be in service and/or financial industries.
* Six Sigma MBB/BB Certification desired. LEAN, TPS, Kaizen, Hoshin, BPI experience preferred
* Able to make decisions based on fact but still employ creative/out of the box thinking
* Good financial aptitude, including an understanding of cost structures, while keeping the customer paramount.
* A keen attention to detail, excellent planning, organization, and execution skills are all required.
* Proven ability to influence without authority in a complex, changing environment and proficient at leading on own initiative.
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills communication skills appropriate for all levels of the organization is required.
* BS/BA degree or equivalent in work experience
* Mortgage, production or operations experience desired
* Solid knowledge of standard desktop applications to include: MS Office, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab and Lotus Notes. Simulation software (i.e. Arena, Process Model, ProModel) experience a plus.
*Must be able to travel 50%-70% of time.
