Research Rep. I - Financial Account Servicing

Job Category: Administrative/Clerical/ResearchGeneral Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the accurate and timely resolution of high dollar and high risk Official Check exception items. Other key responsibilities include preparing exception/fraudulent Official Checks to be returned including appropriate bank notification. Additional functions include processing incoming and outgoing Official Check collection items and other correspondence. This position will work closely with our Account Servicing, Inventory and Set-Up teams.

Education: HS Diploma/GED (Required)
Years of Experience: 1-3 (Required)
Experience working in an environment where analytical skills and attention to details are critical, such as reconciliation, adjustments or research functions. (Required)
The ability to interact with all levels of internal customers in an effective and processional manner. (Required)
Ability to prioritize work, and complete a variety of tasks and projects in deadline oriented environment. (Required)
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications including Work, Excel and outlook. (Required)
10 key by touch (Required)
Knowledge of the Official Check/Edison system and processes. (Preferred)
The ability to identify more effective ways to process workflow and the willingness to make recommendations and implement changes when needed. (Preferred)Special Considerations: Requires flexibility in working hours, including overtime, to meet daily deadlines.
