They make outbound calls to architects, builders, developers, zoning committees etc. They ask that particular person they are calling about projects in the construction business they are bidding on or working on. They then put the information they gathered from a series of questions into a database designed to gather this information. 1. Research Information Specialist: -We have several of these positions
avail - well over 10 spots to fill.
They contact via phone our "sources" who are the ones who provide us with
information about up and coming projects. They take the information provided by the source and input it into out data system. They verify and update data. There is a training program and ramp up period. They are held to productivity quotas. Plus a bonus program which rewards on
measurable metrics.Truly looking for people who have had experience doing market data
solicitations - like at night when you get the call that says " I don't want
to sell you anything, I am with XYZ Marketing company I just want to ask you
a few questions....." Or folks who have done any other type of research,
questioning or trying to obtain information via phone.Must haves
Experience on the phone retrieving or soliciting information.
Excellent phone presence, clear speaking voice, clean grammar.
Data entry skills.
Dependable - and able to work 8-5.
