Research Analyst

Executive Compensation Resources (ECR)/TowersPerrin is the leading source of information on executive compensation. Guided by proprietary databases, ECR is relied on by industry, consulting and law firms, and government to record how corporations pay executives.

Research Analysts are expected to work independently to analyze, code, and annotate executive compensation data extracted from material contracts and proxy filings of major corporations made to the Securities and Exchange Commission. Candidates are expected, within six months of hire, to have achieved a firm grounding in the concepts of executive compensation and prepared to expand responsibilities to include assisting in developing and producing client projects.

Responsibilities include:

Gaining an expertise in executive compensationReading and analyzing company documents for relevant data and writing annotations describing the situationUsing gained knowledge to interact with clients in developing and producing individualized reports using ECR's data resources
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements/Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in social sciencesProficiency in all Microsoft applications, i.e., Word, Excel & AccessCurious nature that likes looking for and finding factsDiligent research capabilitiesInitiative coupled with ability to work independentlyDetail-orientedExcellent oral & written communication skillsTwo years business experience
