Representative, Student Financial Services - Walden

Provides students with information on the status of their financial accounts including: status of financial aid, tuition and fee charges, billing statements, and payments. Helps students resolve any and all problems related to their financial status.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to student inquiries regarding charges, bills, payments and financial aid
Work in collaboration with other members of the Bursar Unit and other departments to make sure the student needs are met
Provide data entry assistance to other members of the Bursar Unit during peak periods
Assist with projects and student service related Bursar matters as directed by the Student Financial Services Manager
REQUIREMENTS
* Associates degree in related field preferred.
Must have 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in an education setting.
Working knowledge of desktop computer applications including: Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills required.
Ability to communicate effectively with students and college staff are essential.
