Responsible for the communication and administration of policies and procedures covering several core HR disciplines. Provide counseling and guidance to managers and employees, training on HR policies, assist with general benefits, payroll, and compensation administration. Perform all duties in accordance with Argent policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include:
Communicate, coordinate, and assist with the implementation of HR policies and programs in conjunction with overall Company goals. Drive and promote uniform application of HR related policies and programs. Assist with the design and conducts local training courses on Human Resources topics: new hire orientation, management development, federal and state compliance,etc. Assist with the development and administration of Human Resources programs and tools to help meet business unit needs and increase overall performance. Support various departments with their recruiting needs: posting jobs, sourcing resumes, screening applicants, job fairs, etc.
Assist management with the hiring/termination procedure. Successful candidates will have:
A strong working knowledge of State and Federal regulations regarding Human Resource issues.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems: PeopleSoft Preferred. Education or Experience: Minimum 4 years HR related work experience Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience REQUIREMENTS
