Technical Professional II - Regulatory Analyst (107795)
Kansas City Power & Light Company, a leading low cost developer, marketer and provider of wholesale and retail energy, is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual for a Technical Professional II - Regulatory Analyst position in its Regulatory department. This position is located in metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will perform studies and analysis to support Regulatory Plans and rate fillings. Coordinate and assist with the response to Regulatory data requests and preparation of various required Regulatory fillings. Interface with Commission Staffs as necessary. Respond to internal inquiries regarding rates and rules and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related areas and two years professional experience in a regulated electric utility, preferably in the area of state regulation, rate administration, utility accounting and/or load research. The incumbent must demonstrate behavior supporting the GPE Ideal.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent must possess effective leadership qualities, high self-imposed work standards and excellent communication and human relations skills. Needs strong organizational and analytical skills. Must be attentive to details and able to adapt to changing projects, priorities and workload. MBA or advance degree is preferred.
