Regional Sales Coordinator

A Nationwide provider of comprehensive computer products and technology solutionsis looking for a Regional Sales Coordinator to work in their sales department. The jobresponsibilities include:
Ability to apply technical solutions into identified vertical markets
Work within a team environment to achieve stretch goal objectives
Identify new business & growth opportunities through focused leadcampaigns
Retain current designated customer base by providing exceptional serviceand developing professional relationships
75% customer focused, 25% administrative
Sales liaison to product teams while sales reps are out of office
Customer liaison when sales reps are on vacation
Assist with the identification and organization of regional marketing events
Prospect and customer information pulls from salesforce.com and Hoovers
Report generation against sales force metrics
Support VP, National Sales as well as Regional VP
Coordinate with operations and sales to track and record deal & accountinformation and be able to run reports for sales margins, vendors and strategicpartners. Assist with communication to all sales reps about specific vendorpromotions, offerings or special events. Maintain and update customer database/CRM tool through communicationwith sales reps and data entry from various source lists and be able to pull mailing listsbased on purchases, inquiries and/or quotes. Build and maintain customer reference list and be able to pull referencesby vendor or strategic partner.
Assist all sales reps in region with pre-sales needs such as proofreading, printing, binding and formatting letters, proposals, presentations etc.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience/Ability to sell directly to C-level executives
Proven record of selling technology solutions over the phone
Self motivated and goal oriented
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to build rapport quickly and over the phone
Inside sales experience a plus
Motivation to meet deadlines and exceed quotas
Excellent team management skills
Results-oriented
Dependable
Positive attitude and strong work ethic is a must
Ability to work independently as well as a team player
3-5 years administrative experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Knowledge of salesforce.com a plus
Strong attention to organization, detail, and accuracy
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work with minimal direction
