Supports the creation of monthly actual and rolling 3 month forecast MPJ's.
True up the MPJ's actual to accrual entries and financial statements
Helps the areas to improve forecasting ability, process and accuracy
Analyze contract labor usage and mix of work assigned
Analyze actual technical efficiency, downtime, and true up to technical salaries
Review material usage by area, by tech and per connectTechnical Personnel - Expense Budget
Analyze technical productivity in relation to salary expense
Ensure that salary costs are compared to budget in terms of volume, rate and effectiveness
Review sales commission performance
Determine source of OT and effect on productivity
Ensure that construction capitalization entries are correct and make senseInstallation Capitalization - Expense Budget
Through direct observation, review the application of proper billing codes at check-in
Review capitalization process and ensure that activity is accurately captured
Assist areas in automating capitalization entries
Analyze and explain differences in operational approaches that affect capitalization across areas
Test audit capitalization entries to ensure supportabilityContract Labor
Relates financial performance to field activities, policies and procedures
Closely monitors and analyzes contract labor spending in real time (weekly)
Works with areas to validate accrual methodology
Validates contract labor forecasts against planned activity and previous actuals
Uses MPJ data to determine if proper mix of work is being completedManagement Approach
Work directly with the area technical and financial managers to ensure a consistent approach
Assists with the preparation of forecasts for contract labor and capitalization
Provides analysis and support to the areas and the regional team in preparation for P&L reviews
Provides budget preparation and review support for the areas, region and divisionPerformance Measurement Metrics,Customer First,OCF,Contract Labor,
Installation Capitalization,Capture process
MPJ Forecast Accuracy,P&L Performance - TechnicalAssist areas with annual Capital Budgeting Process
Provide Senior Management with YOY Capital Budgeting Reporting and other Ad hoc Budget reporting as needed
Complete and Distribute to SR Management Capital Summary by entity information monthly
Assist with GL and operational metrics analysis for technical P&L where needed
Punctual, regular and consistent attendanceQualifications
Bachelors degree (preferably technical discipline) or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in cable operational management.
