The Portfolio Analyst for Mortgage Servicing Rights will support asset analytics activities involving managing and monitoring the Primary and Master Servicing assets. This analyst provides meaningful, accurate and timely analytical reviews in addition to applicable recommendations, which can be utilized in formulating investment strategy, managing portfolio risk and assisting associated departments.

Essential Accountabilities:
Analyze and report on the Primary Mortgage Servicing Rights (PMSR) portfolio in the context of the monthly mark-to-market process.
Assist in calculating the fair market value of the PMSR portfolio based on the current market environment.
Assist in generating monthly asset and revenue forecasts of the Primary Mortgage Servicing Rights asset.
Maintains reporting and detailed documentation supporting all asset modeling assumptions and methodologies used in the valuation of the various Mortgage Servicing Rights portfolios.
Assist in the research and understanding of the impact on Mortgage Servicing Rights of new product initiatives, providing pricing/product recommendations to responsible parties.
Assist in identifying and quantifying issues or observable trends relating to the PMSR asset and making recommendations for changes, adjustments, modifications, etc.
Assist in the development and systematization of various CMVA applications in addition to PMSR Pricing Models and other fixed income analytic systems.
Assist in the elaboration of several management reporting functions with respect to CMVA.
Maintain a variety of performance reports and analyses.


Requirements:
College degree in finance, accounting, economics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent work related experience
3+ years in mortgage industry analytics performing increasingly complex analyses. Knowledge of mortgage banking processes.
Excellent analytical and mathematical finance skills
Advance knowledge of spreadsheets and databases (MS Office Application)
Programming experience in Visual Basic / C/C++ / SAS preferred.
Understanding of the cash flows generated from a variety of mortgage and non-mortgage securities.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments; able to prioritize to meet deadlines with little direct supervision.
