RFP Data Support Analyst

Our client a leader in the financial industry is seeking a Data Support Analyast to join their team.

Overview:
The Senor Data Analyst is responsible for providing support to my clients Fixed Income Marketing and Sales team. This involves compiling, analyzing,
maintaining and reporting of assets, returns, and portfolio characteristics
that are utilized in requests for proposals (RFPs), due diligence documents
and client presentations. The individual will also be involved in
compiling and reporting quarterly staff information that contains counts,
changes between periods, and years of experience for investment
professionals, product and sector teams. Additionally, this person will
partner with management and business partners (i.e. Portfolio Managers,
Analysts, Risk Managers, Finance, and Relationship Managers) to implement
workflow changes, develop procedures for new processes and enhance controls
for existing processes.

Incumbents at this level are fully experienced Business Management
professionals and have an in-depth understanding of Fixed Income and the
RFP process. Individuals in this position typically will have five or more
years of applicable experience.

Job responsibilities may include:Responding to marketing requests for quantitative data needed for RFPs,Due Diligence documents and client presentations
Assisting Marketing Team in gathering data for RFPs and questionnairesReviewing data content in marketing materials and RFP's prior to distributionConstructing product information histories where none previously existed; subsequently used in databases, RFPs and sales presentationsResearching accounts' histories for creation of detailed spreadsheets for use in external consultant databases, RFPs and presentationsMaintaining internal fixed income data repository with quarterly sector,quality ratings and characteristics for each marketed strategyPreparing quarterly reports that contain sector breakouts, quality distribution, representative characteristics and composite performance for marketed strategiesPreparing quarterly staff reports that include counts, gain/loss,average years of experience for Firm, Sector and Product teamsPreparing quarterly asset reports based on strategy, tax-status, plan type, client type, and client domicileAnticipating issues that may adversely affect the ability to meet reporting deadlines, and taking action to reduce the risk of occurrencesProactively seeking ways to improve current processes by leveraging the tools available to Identify inefficiencies and implementing automatedsolutionsKeeping abreast of industry initiatives and market trends that can impact our business and/or offer opportunities to improve our processes
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.Prior experience in business management, client reporting, portfolio analysis, or fixed income operationsKnowledge of fixed income products, investment strategies, derivatives,RFP process and external consultant databasesStrong PC skills with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, along with the ability to learn new applications/software quicklyStrong analytical and problem solving skills
