The Ambulatory Registration Financial Specialist is primarily responsible for registering BWH patients in person, verifying demographic and insurance information at time of patient visit. Is sensitive to and respectful of patient confidentiality at all times. Updates all information as necessary, ensuring all such patient information is accurate and complete, sufficient to allow for clean facility and professional billing. Will use a variety of electronic and other means to gather and verify demographic and insurance information. Is responsible for performing various administrative and clerical duties required to support these functions. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Previous experience in a customer service role and experience with health insurance, preferably within a healthcare setting and exceptional interpersonal skills required.
