Job Description:
This national practice combines strategy, design and process building to assure that Ernst & Young is focused on all issues that could be a potential risk for the firm. The Quality and Risk Management Group (Q&RM) will enable the people of Ernst & Young to be compliant and to put in place processes and procedures that will help people in the field to better do their jobs. We are in need for a bright, energetic, self-starter to perform at high levels. This position will involve process re-engineering for identifying and handling any potential risks with the firm. Responsibilities Liaise with Senior level internal clients to answer preliminary questions around risks/risk management issues. Lead/Manage presentations for Risk Management training and communications to internal groups. Other project work in related areas as it arises. Play a proactive role in evaluating existing processes around independence and procurement, and in working with the firm Partners in assessing and/or re-engineering existing services. REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related business discipline a minimum of 4-5 years of experience prior risk management background exceptional project management/organizational skills, including strong attention to detail previous experience in Big 4 or Big 4 like work environment is a plus prior client service/consultations skills a plus self-starter exceptional communications skills experience in a demanding, multitasking environment ability to interface with all levels of management must be able to work independently but within a team environment strong familiarity with technology (database input and management, including Excel) strong conflict management skills strong analytical skills, problem solving mentality
