Quality Assurance Technical Business Analyst #765-06 (#765-06)

Supply Operations Quality Assurance & Consumer Protection, located in Pleasanton, CA, has an opening for a Quality Assurance Technical Business Analyst.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a technical writer for various quality assurance projects.
Analyze data using a variety of computational and statistical methodologies to arrive at conclusions. Report findings to senior leadership and make recommendations to drive changes to policies, procedures, methodologies and specifications.
Partner with quality documentation team to ensure that finalized policies and procedures are posted to various internal web sites.
Initiate, facilitate and manage Quality projects; provide input on the prioritization of these projects based on key quality objectives. Plan, assign, supervise and review the work of the project team to meet deadlines and department-established goals.
Create and disseminate project summary reports and key findings to quality assurance team.
Development and execution of executive presentations to provide updates to the Quality Assurance Team and key internal stakeholders on team action steps.
Assemble quality audit reports. Draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Serve as resource for identification and resolution of quality opportunities identified by perishable BUGM’S.
Participate in development and implementation of retail quality compliance audits.
Provide innovative and strategic ideas to support company growth.
Organize, edit and publish quality content on quality portal/web site. Leads and manages Quality related IT initiatives. Develop and substantiate IT related needs by the use of cost benefit analysis.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system to support VP of Quality Assurance.
Administrative duties as required
Travel up to 10% over multiple time zones

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated:
4-year college degree required in food science or food technology.
Minimum 1 year, preferably 3 years of quality assurance experience in food industry.
Minimum 1 year, preferably 3 years experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications and data base systems. Strong proficiency using Excel and statistical analysis tools. Must pass advanced Microsoft Office skill-set testing.
Minimum 2 years experience managing quality based projects. Formal project management training preferred. Ability to motivate, lead and influence various levels of the organization.
Prior work experience with meat, seafood, poultry, produce, deli and foodservice a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and technical writing skills required.
Ability to assimilate new information quickly and react positively to new and challenging opportunities.
Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills required
Energetic, self-motivated and the ability to manage multiple projects and work with multifunctional teams.
Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills; high level of trustworthiness and integrity.
Establish and maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.
