Public Accounting - Client Contact

We are currently recruiting for a people-person, accountant, for a St. Paul CPA firm. This is a unique opportunity to manage the client relationships (DAY ONE) with your clients.Would you like to be more of an advisor to your clients?Do you want to use more of your special personality than your ability to tick & tack?Do you have what it takes to run your own practice?You will perform:
*Consulting with and helping numerous small business owners with financial matters
*Tax work with individuals and business entities
*Preparation, analysis and compilation of financial statementsOpportunity to grow and expand your practice within the firm.
Proven successful methodology.
This is a position where you act as an advisor rather than handling accounts payable, data entry. Support staff is in place to do that bookkeeping work. You manage the relationships.Work independently on a schedule that is somewhat flexible.

REQUIREMENTS
Self-motivated accountant with excellent time management skills.You must thrive on client contact.CPA preferred.Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of public accounting experience in a diversified (possibly smaller firm) environment where you have been a generalist doing tax, consulting, and small business accounting.
