Proprietary Trader VP-Fixed Income/FX Markets
Our client, a major International Bank, seeks a VP level Proprietary Trader with at least five years’ experience trading fixed income and FX investments for a major bank or broker dealer. The successful candidate will have their own P & L. The bank is offering a starting salary up to $165K plus bonus.
Major Responsibilities:
•Management of market and position risks and profitability of proprietary trading portfolio – adhering to the bank’s risk limits and P & L goals
•Trading products including interest rate futures & futures options, treasury note futures & future options, interest rate swaps, swaptions, FRA’s, treasury bonds, agencies, FX, and currencies including US Dollar, Euro, GBP and Japanese Yen.Job Requirements
•5 + years’ experience at a bank or broker dealer trading fixed income, FX markets and currencies – with 2 year’s P & L experience
•Strong trading software skills – spreadsheets & financial CAD
•Undergraduate degree
