Expansion of staff! Seeking Senior Accountant to be mentored by the Accounting Manager (CPA/MBA) of a well recognized global company. My client has a demonstrated history of mentoring, cross training and promoting key performers!!

OPPORTUNITY: Versatile role great grooming ground for future Accounting Supervisor/Manager. Perform various general accounting responsibilities as it relates to month end close, intercompany accounting and financial reporting. Various special projects (i.e. expense analysis, actual vs. budget comparatives, trending analysis,etc). Prepare monthly journal entries, general ledger analysis and account reconciliations. Work with Accounting Manager to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual workpapers and reports for management utilizing SAP and TM1. Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual schedules to support SEC filing disclosures. Work with other members of the Controller's group to ensure timely and efficient closing of the general ledger each month. Work extensively with accounting and cross functional departments throughout the company addressing various accounting issues.
REQUIREMENTS
BS, Accounting. MBA and/or CPA a plus. Demonstrated history of promoting continuous improvement, efficiency and automation while working on a team or as an individual contributor. Top performers recognized by the Controller. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Solid accountability and professionalism. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel & Word). Familiarity with ERP applications (i.e. JD Edwards, Oracle, Lawson or SAP) desired. Financial modeling ability and knowledge of TM1 a plus.
