Project and Grants Manager

Purpose:
Our client, a leading public broadcasting firm, is searching for a Project and Grants Manager for their Alexandria, VA location.

On a day to day basis, this individual will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accounting procedures (in compliance with GAAP), compliance with all grant requirements, and provides timely reports to the Controller. Will be responsible for managing staff and operations of Projects & Grants section. Will be reconciling projects and commitments to G/L accounts, tracking deferred revenue and completing monthly revenue recognition for all projects & local underwriting contracts, and processing related wire transfer requests and completing related basis for billings.

The ideal candidate Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2-5 years of experience. Experience with Great Plains software is a plus. Must have knowledge of MS Office.
