Project accountant for Publicly Held Drilling Company

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $60,000 to $74,000 per year Do you want to work in West Houston and have an opportunity to travel the world? This International publicly held Drilling Corporation is looking for a Project accountant. In this role, this candidate will have the opportunity to interact with Engineering, Technology and Accounting. This role will test your accounting ability as a candidate will be Provide guidance on proper accounting policy for preparation and management of shipyard AFEs, capture actual costs in the appropriate accounts, provide guidance on purchasing policy for purchase orders, and sales and rental orders (SROs) and review invoices from shipyard to ensure correct billing. This role does have travel up to 50% to shipyards around the world. This candidate should have 5 plus years working for a Drilling company and a degree is highly preferred.
