Our mission is to help our clients hire and retain the best possible employees.Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, this experienced full-time Project Manager will join our in-house team at a stable, fast growth Maple Grove company. This position requires the ability to handle multiple demands while keeping a positive, results-focused attitude toward clients, vendors, and other team members. Must be able to effectively collaborate with customers and business partners and conceptualize innovative and working solutions. A familiarity with project management tools, techniques, and procedures is a plus.Key responsibilities:Actively promote and ensure all new products and product enhancements support Verifications’ ISO objectives, particularly continuous quality improvement.Research, analyze, document, and help develop new products and features as appropriate.Assist in development of department processes, include reporting mechanisms to provide feedback to requestor, tracking methods, and product delivery.Work with project team to ensure common understanding of development requests, timeframes, and requirements.Assist in creating a product development environment that is controlled, efficient, cost-effective, and pragmatic.Assist in development of system for calculating Return on Investment for product enhancements and new products; ensure ROI justification is included in all development activities.Keep confidential all applicant, client, and Verifications Incorporated proprietary information.Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS



Requirements:Experience with scoping and implementing custom accounting software. Initial project will involve development of a highly flexible customer billing system.Experience with implementing two or more technology projects or work process cycles from inception to completionExperience with projects in multiple technologies/functionsDemonstrated leadership in multi-discipline, high-performance work teams or groupsExcellent organizational and project management skills and ability to multi-taskExpert knowledge of project management methodology, best practices, tools, processesStrong written and verbal skillsAbility to articulate technical information to a variety of audiencesStrong influence and negotiation skillsStrong research and analysis skillsMathematically competentTechnically competent at desktop level; ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Project, VisioAbility to organize material, prepare concise analysis, present verbally and in writing.Good writing skillsSelf-motivated; independent worker with ability to multi-taskAbility to work with and influence a teamFour-year college degree or equivalentUnderstanding of basic accounting concepts and processesExperience with software projects involving development and testing of applications highly desirableExperience working in corporate accounting environment highly desirablePMI Certification preferred
