Project Manager - Financial / Accounting Systems

One of our most important investment banks is looking for a project manager/consultant to lead the analysis, design and implementation of a global and regional general ledger/consolidation accounting system for the organization. The ideal candidate will have multiple project experiences in defining project scope including business requirements and will lead the effort through the entire SDLC including testing and client hand-off.Job Requirements
The project manager must demonstrate strong financial systems knowledge including the previous management of a SDLC accounting systems project. Demonstrated experience with interfaces among other functional areas---IT and Accounting---is a must., You must possess some knowledge of corporate finance, equities and fixed income products in a sophisticated financial institution , with knowledge of Oracle or Peoplesoft financial modules and a thorough experience with the personal skills to make such a project successful. These skills include dealing with ambiguity, conflict resolution, influence skills, and the typical softer-side skills necessary with such a complex multi-functional and multi-year deliverable.
