Currently, we are seeking qualified individuals to fill the Project Manager position listed below in our corporate office, located in Basking Ridge, NJ.
Duties/Responsibilities include:
Lead the transition from legacy accounting system to Microsoft Dynamics’ Solomon
Review, analyze, and evaluate business processes and user needs
Formulate systems and technology approaches required to implement business strategies
Develop business cases for business management setting out problem definition, solution options, cost analyses, design considerations, implementation timeliness, and recommendations
Research, plan and recommend software and system choices to meet business requirements
Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs
May supervise programmers and manage major projects
Performs a variety of tasks
Lead and direct the work of others
Report to head of Business Services group
REQUIREMENTS
Project Manager / Business Systems Analyst
To qualify, you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in an analytical subject (e.g., Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration)
6 – 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related area
Extensive project management experience with particular emphasis on projects which involve a significant IT component
Experience in implementing an accounting system for a mid-size business
Leadership of process improvement in a finance or accounting function in a customer-oriented business
Familiar with Insurance industry concepts, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of Microsoft Solomon and .Net also an advantage
PMI qualification a plus
