Project Grant Accountant

Project Grant Accountant needed for prestigious University in the Cleveland area. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a University setting as well as a large Accounting Department.This is a project based position that will be responsible for Financial Management of all research grants and special accounts. Also will be responsible for determining accounting errors in salary distributions, supplies and services, completing necessary journals, supplemental forms and follow up to make sure that corrections are processed. Additionally the selected individual will be responsible for combining the NOA's with budgets and examining that data.Qualifications:
Must have a B.A. degree and at least 3 + years of accounting or financial management experience.
Experience with Grant Accounting a must!
Must have strong Excel skills
Must be able to function with minimal supervision
