We are committed to making a difference in these critical areas by providing technical services that solve such global challenges.Tetra Tech EC, a division of Tetra Tech Inc., is a leading environmental consulting, engineering and remediation firm with offices in over 30 locations.We are currently seeking a Project Estimator for our Langhorne, PA office.Responsibilities: All facets of bid preparation, review and comprehension of RFPs, Specifications and Drawings; breakdown of scope of work into definable tasks (WBS development); development of work crews and production rates for performance of required tasks; performance of material takeoffs to define quantities of work; RFQ development/solicitation/review and comprehension of subcontractor/supplier quotes; development of Review Packages for, and conducting senior management reviews, CPM scheduling; project cashflow analysis; and proposal unit rate development and closeout. REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Hard Dollar estimating (or similar) and Microsoft Office Excel and Word, and scheduling software (P3 preferred). Experience with AGTEK, Microsoft Project and MCACES a plus.Expertise with Fixed Price construction projects, including Build-to-Print and Design/Build projects. Experience in construction of commercial and/or government facilities, organization, attention to detail, ability to work within tight time constraints and under pressure; and ability to work within a proposal team.
