Project Coordinator II

The Project Coordinator assists project managers in setting up, maintaining and monitoring project financials through its internal accounting system. Candidate assists with word processing, deliverable production, spreadsheets, contract administration, and records management. Serves as a liaison with the Accounting Department to ensure invoices, outstanding receivables and payables are identified and any problems are resolved within required timeframes. Prepares regular weekly and monthly financial reports, analyze data and work with project managers/accounting to correct discrepancies.
REQUIREMENTS
A college graduate with a minimum of 3 years administrative experience or a minimum of 6-8 year's experience working in an administrative support role. Strong computer skills and demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, and other applicable software. Must be able to type a minimum of 60 wpm. Accuracy is critical. Must possess excellent communication skills and be flexible and able to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines. Enthusiasm and personal initiative to develop solutions in support of others and desire to complete challenging assignments as part of a team. Previous experience with basic accounting principles is preferred.
